                        Published by "The Studio" as their special Summer number for 1907. Later half leather binding with green cloth boards. Five raised bands to spine, gilt lettering on red patch to spine.  Gilt decoration to spine. 11.5ins x 8.25ins, ix, (i), x, 31pp plates by James Maris, pps xi to xxii, 31pp plates by Matthew Maris, pps xxiii to xxx, 11pp plates by William Maris, pps xxxi to xxxviii. Of the 73 plates 16 are tipped-in examples mounted on brown card and tissue guarded. Text was by D. Croal Thomson. One plate (Matthew 23) has a stain to the page which is just encroaching on the image. Otherwise a VG copy
