                        Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine.  Top edges gilt.  Boards are marked and generally grubby.  Corners are bumped, edges are worn.  Spine is faded with bumping to ends.  The pages have been hand cut and hence are rather ragged.  Age discolouration to endpages.  Engraved frontispiece, + 4 engraved plates, 2 plans, 1 lithograph plate.  Infrequent annotations to the textblock in pencil.  Some foxing.  347 pp + adverts.  Previous owner's bookplate.
