Book Description

Folio, 21 etchings with descriptive text, untrimmed, bevel edged blue cloth boards with decorations and titles in gilt blind. The contents are in very good condition with foxing here & there, mainly to the early and later pages. The boards are a little marked and rubbed. The whole book has been recased by our bookbinder, the original gutta percha having failed.
Dealer Notes
The etchings include views of Warwick Castle, The Grammar School in Stratford upon Avon, Evesham, Pershore and Tewkesbury. Sumner also published a similar work on the Itchen Valley in Hampshire.
