Finely illustrated with 8 mono and 16 colour Pochoir full page plates, plus several smaller character drawings as chapter headings by Jean De Boscherre. Finely bound in late twentieth century full dark blue Morocco. Spine with five raised bands, each with gilt piping. Compartments double ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt. Double gilt ruled border on boards. Board edges with gilt piping. Gilt inner dentelles. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. A fine copy of this beautiful book. The binding is unsigned but is the work of a master bookbinder.
