Engraved title page and 29 pages each of which has 3 engraved vignettes, one page with date of 1813, and 2 dated 1818. Contemporary ownership inscription in ink on endpaper, lower corner torn from title page, hinges cracked; one gather pulled but still firm, some wear and age-related browning to pages. 60 pages. Publishers original binding, 155 x 95 mm [approx. 6” x 3 ¾”] red roan and marbled boards, spine ruled and titled in gilt. Boards worn at corners, spine has some wear at base, rubbed but generally sound. London. Printed for Darton, Harvey and Darton Gracechurch Street, early edition [1818]
