Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám (The Folio Society, [second edition] 1970).
The Folio Society first published a Rubaiyat in 1955, the fourth impression of that edition coming out in 1962. This, Folio’s second edition and published in 1970, is in a slightly larger format and with drawings by Virgil Burnett.
Hardback – red cloth with gold/silver design, in a clamshell box with label to front. Illustrated endpapers, [32]pp including illustrations. 8.75 x 5.25 inches approx. (223mm x 133mm).
Box rubbed and worn, some scratching, but generally in very good order. Cloth clean and bright; pages clean.
Overall, a particularly nice, clean copy in a slightly worn box.
