Pair of 'Gumnut' books Scotty in Gumnut Land / Mr & Mrs Bear and Friends
Book Description
A pair of May Gibb's very wonderful 'Gumnut' books, both reprints from the 1950s, with word original dust wrappers. 'Scotty in Gumnut Land' 1956 reprint of the 1955 second edition of the book (originally published in 1941), whilst 'Mr & Mrs Bear and Friends' is a first printing of the second edition from 1957 (originally published in 1945). Both wrappers are worn with tears and loss etc. - see photos - but are scarce to find in any condition. Boards on both books are good (staining to rear of Scotty); internally good, with some colouring to front and rear (and 'bubble' to rear of Scotty).
Unusual pair to find.
