A very good 1st edition copy of this 1936 book by Margaret Sackville, entitled 'Mr Horse's New Shoes'. Published by Country Life Ltd, this 'nonsense story' is scarce to find in its original dust wrapper. DW has wear, with loss to front and spine (see photos). Book is very good, with neat gift inscription to ffep. Features very charming colour and line illustrations by Caird, including 12 colour plates.
