Signed Limited Edition, No. 9 of 100. 22 x 28 cm half leather over marbled paper covered boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, Uncut edges, cream endpapers unpaginated [20], signed by author with frontispiece photograph and with hand printed screen-print of ‘Kilgore Trout’, also signed by Vonnegut, bound in and as issued. In original custom made cloth slip case.
A reproduction of the letter Vonnegut wrote home in May 1945, after being listed as, ‘Missing in Action’, briefly relating his experiences as a prisoner of war and which laid the foundation for his classic novel Slaughterhouse-Five. A beautifully produced, difficult to find, signed work.
