An additional CDV of Wicksteed, by Hepburn of Graham’s Town, South Africa, is loosely inserted.

Wicksteed, an engineer, died in Port Elizabeth in South Africa at the age of 30. This memorial volume, printed in small numbers, contains the journal of his voyage from England (Dartmouth) to South Africa, and letters written from Port Elizabeth, Cape Colony, or in the field.
