London Tube map Cigarette Case 1930s
Book Description
London Tube map Cigarette Case 1930s. A small gold plated brass case with three London maps: a map of the London Underground on the inside and two other maps on the front and back. These are a circular map of London showing the old postal areas (NW, NE, SW and SE) with the suburban codes also shown within these areas, plus a map of outer London from Enfield south to Croydon. The Underground map is based on the classic Harry Beck style. Age wear to both of the outside maps and a few small spots to the tube map. Possibly produced in the late 1930s and similar to one held in the collection of the London Transport Museum. Fair to Good condition with the qualifications above.
