This sweet little book is a short version of the Regimen sanitatis Salernitanum written in the 12th or 13th century and generally attributed to John of Milan. This abridged version consists of 125 epigrams in Latin verse about everyday health and medical matters such as how to wash your hands and what to do if you drink too much wine at supper. Beneath the Latin is the French translation, also in verse. The volume also contains a short Discours sur L'École de Salerne.
