Book Description
Four rare and attractive engravings by J. Jacottet ca 1840, published by Blanchoud in Vevey. 16 x 11 cm on card. The ascent of the Rigi (Righi) was an essential excursion, and these engravings pre-date the first mountain railway which was built in 1871. Two show the summit and two are 'sur le chemin de Weggis aux bains froids'.
