1st edition, a worn copy of this title, SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY BRENT-DYER on front paste down. this is her first book, and the first in the La Rochelle series. This copy is signed and inscribed 'To Mother with very much love from Eleanor'. It has been well read and treasured by Eleanor's mother and it is more touching that it HAS been read than if it had been in pristine condition. Unique and desirable copy.
