Full title reads: Baconiana, or, certain genuine remains of Sr. Francis Bacon, Baron of Verulam, and Viscount of St. Albans : in arguments civil and moral, natural, medical, theological, and bibliographical; now the first time published : an account of these remains, and of all his Lordship's other works, is given by the publisher, in a discourse by way of introduction. London: Printed by J.D. for Richard Chiswell at the Rose and Crown in St. Paul's Church-Yard. First edition. 8vo. Pp [viii] 102, [-1-2] 270. Portrait not present, divisional title to second part (B1) removed, therefore missing two leaves in all, remaining divisional titles pages present. Rather irregularly bound, viz; title page to introduction bound before the general title page, and the four prelims (three contents pages and imprimatur) are bound between 98 and 103, contemporary calf, sometime rebacked, duplicate stamp of the Bodleian Library on verso of first title page. Some even browning, but a good copy.
