The duc de Montpensier was the brother of Philippe d’Orléans (the hunter and Arctic explorer), and cousin of Henri d’Orléans, the explorer of Asia. Montpensier was an early car enthusiast, and explored Indochina by car on several occasions. He also hunted, and the present work provides an overview of his travels and hunting experiences in Vietnam, Cambodia, and his interactions with the local Moi people.
