Book Description

132pp., blue paper covered boards, beige cloth-covered spine. The covers and spine are in very good condition, with just a few small marks here and there. Contents very good with a little wear to the edges and a little foxing and staining / browning to some pages. The title page has a small section of loss to the top edge and right corner. A previous owner's annotations (they look contemporary with its publication) appear intermittently throughout. The later boards are in very good condition

This book presents a satire on fashionable life in Bath, written by the Rector of Claverton. It was first published in 1807 and this is the second edition, to which the author added some new content.
