Fully illustrated throughout with 56 colour plates, some double page, and several small line drawings amongst the text. Original burgundy spine, lettered in white. Paper covered boards with full colour illustration of Alice and the March Hare on front panel. Grey cloth bookmark. Housed in a burgundy cloth slipcase with colour plate on front panel, reproducing the image from the front board. Very good bright copy of this fabulous edition. Winner of the Kate Greenaway medal.
