Forty tissue-guarded plates of mediaeval sculptured fonts, mostly from churches in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, no doubt on account of the fact that Simpson lived in Stamford, on the borders of those counties. A nice association copy at a very reasonable price.
